Christine D Hanson

Christine Diane Hanson, 70, of Moline, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021, at home.

Per her wishes cremation rites will be accorded and no services will be held. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Moline is assisting the family. Memorial may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.

Christine was born on February 21, 1951, in Moline, the daughter of Melvin L Hanson and Dorothy “Penny” Hanson Conte. She graduated from Moline High School and attended Black Hawk College in Moline. She was united in marriage to Dennis “Denny” D Newell in Los Vegas on February 3, 1994.

Christine retired from Labors Local 309 and continued to work for John Deere security. She had a passion for international travel, spending time with family, and her fur babies, Shannon and Shaner. Christine was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Moline.

She is survived by her husband, Denny; siblings, Michael Hanson and Karen Hofer; niece, Mia Doerschmer, MI; and nephew, Jesse Rittonhouse, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
