Christopher J. "Chuck" Yeater, age 18 of Stronghurst, IL died October 29, 2008 in Iowa City, IA of injuries sustained in a vehicle accident.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 3rd at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 3:00-6:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Garden, Silvis, IL. Memorials may be made in Christopher's name at St. Francis Medical Center Neonatal ICU.
Christopher was born on May 14, 1990 in Peoria, IL the son of Lisa Yeater.
Christopher was an avid sportsman who loved to read, fish and play video games. He played football and golf at West Central High School.
Survivors include his mother Lisa Yeater-Cassiday of Muscatine, Iowa; Brother Michael Yeater of Stronghurst, IL; Father Walter Wilcox of Silvis; Maternal grandparents James and Darlene Rice of Media, IL and Thomas Sr. and Bonnie Yeater of Colona, IL; Paternal Grandmother Jean Wilcox; 4 Uncles Thomas Yeater, Jr. of Tipton, IA, Curtis (Lorri) Yeater of Geneseo, Clifford Rice of Texas, and Clyde Terry of Silvis; 3 Aunts Laura and Diana Rice of Texas and Stacey Terry of Silvis; several great- aunts and uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal great grandparents
