Christopher “Kit” B. Gray, 25, of Moline, IL, died Sunday, June 11, 2017, at home.
A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2017, with a visitation from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. prior to the service at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to the family.
Chris was born on March 1, 1992, in Moline, IL, the son of Charles C. and Cheryl “Cheri” Hanna Gray. He worked as a bartender for Barcocina Bar & Grill in Chicago, IL. Prior to that, he worked in the food service industry.
Chris loved attending music festivals and spending time with his friends. He was a huge Chicago sports fan and loved the Bears, Cubs, Bulls, and Blackhawks. Chris was in Wrigleyville when the Cubs won the World Series. He was loved by family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his father, Charlie Gray, Moline, IL; sister, Adriane Moen, Moline, IL; nephew and niece, Chase and Ava Moen; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins from the Hanna and Gray families.
He was preceded in death by his mother, “Cheri”; grandparents; aunt, Diane “Bunny” Hanna Neary; uncles, Joe Ambrozi, Jim Byam, Danny Martens, Everett Boyd, and Chris Kupper.
