Cirilo Gallardo

Cirilo Gallardo, 84, of Moline, passed away Friday, October 14, 2022, at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, October 20, 2022, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Moline. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, October 19, 2022, with a rosary to be recited at 3 p.m., at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Cremation rites will take place following the services.

Cirilo was born on June 2, 1938, in San Nicolas, Mexico, the son of Cirilo and Carmen (Mendoza) Gallardo. He married Audelia Garcia on November 19, 1960, in San Nicolas. She preceded him in death on March 21, 2012. He was previously employed as an assembler at Specialty Doors. Cirilo was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Moline. He loved watching the Chicago White Sox.

Survivors include his children, Jose (Ana) Gallardo, Margarita (Jose) Perez, Cirilo (Maria) Gallardo, Jr., Alfredo (Olivia) Gallardo, Luz (Alfredo) Hernandez, Gilberto (Gloria) Gallardo, Maria Gallardo; 16 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brothers, Trinidad (Cecilia) Gallardo, Pedro Gallardo.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters.
