Clorene "Becky" York

Clorene “Becky” York, 69, of Silvis, passed away, Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at her home.

She was a devoted Veterans wife serving alongside her husband for 25 years.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m., Monday, April 5, 2021, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, 6601 38th Avenue Moline, IL 61265.  Visitation will be from 10:00-12:00 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2021, at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to New Life Fellowship, 2345 19th St. Moline, IL 61265.  In accordance with restrictions, attendees are expected to wear a face mask and observe social distancing.

Becky was born on February 20, 1952, in Moline, the daughter of Chester E. and Evelyn (McKinney) Johnson.  She married Larry Allen York on March 7, 1970.  Her hobbies and interests were her family, kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.  She breathed every minute of spending time with her husband of 51 years, and her immediate and extended family.

Survivors include her husband, Larry York; children, Larry Allen (Shawn) York, Jr., Sonya (Chuck) Phillips, and Angela (Robb) Duffie; grandchildren, Nicole (Mike) Moore, Noelle (Nik) Bourns, Victoria York, Colten Forgie, Katlyn (Rosie) Phillips, Ian Phillips, Shyann Kunkel, Josie (Becky) Duffie, and Carson Duffie; 8 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and sister, Judy Shannon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Milton “Pete” Johnson; and grandson, Taylor Allen York Duffie.
