Daniel Lee Hutchison

Daniel “Dan” Lee Hutchison, 44, of Moline, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023, in Moline.

Private family services will be held at a later date and inurnment will be at the National Cemetery on the Rock Island Arsenal.

Dan was born on September 7, 1978, in Hood River, Oregon the son of Rickie and Verna (Vance) Hutchison.  He was married Bethany (Hanske) on May 15, 2020, in Moline.

Dan was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served in Iraq.  He was employed as a machinist.  Dan was a baseball pitcher in high school before joining the service.  He loved woodworking, video games and spending time with his family.  He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing the Hood River in Oregon as a child.  He cherished his childhood memories of working on his aunt and uncle’s ranch.  Dan loved his family, his children, and his grandson.

Survivors include his wife, Beth; children, Christopher, Audrey, Memphis and Tate; stepdaughters, Emily and Kinley; grandson, Andre; mother, Verna and a brother, Brian (Stephanie) Hutchison.

He was preceded in death by his father.
