David McNelis

David A. McNelis, 44, of Colona, passed away at his home on Saturday, February 16, 2019.

Cremation rights have been accorded. A celebration of life will be on March 3rd, at Irish Times, 8869 Burlington Avenue; Brookfield, IL (60513) from 2:00 - 5:00.  A Quad City gathering will be held on March 9th, at The Renwick Mansion, 901 Tremont Avenue; Davenport, IA (52803) from 12:30 - 3:30.

David was born on June 24, 1974, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of James and Florence C. (Ireland) McNelis.

David was a sports fan to the Chicago Bears, Bulls and White Sox.  He was very artistic and loved to travel to Ireland.

Survivors include his mother, Florence McNelis and siblings, Lisa Betts, Jim (Diana) McNelis, Anne (Keith Frainey) McNelis, Jenny (Dave) Kirkman, John (Wilma Asis) McNelis.  David is also survived by his nephews and nieces, Erik, Matt, Samantha, Garrett, Jaclyn, Annie, Liam, Ayva, Taidhg, Shane, Kiera, Neal, Rowan, and Isla.

He is proceded in death by his father, James.
