Dawn Riser, 60, of Davenport, IA, died Thursday, September 03, 2015, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, IA.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 6, 2015, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to the family.
Dawn was born on February 18, 1955, in Rock Island, IL, the daughter of Carroll and Betty Danielson Davis. She worked as a waitress for Papa Bears until 2011.
Dawn was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rock Island. She loved auto racing, cooking, and going to garage sales. Dawn was a Chicago Cubs fan and a Lakers fan. She enjoyed going to watch the River Bandits.
Survivors include her fiancé, Steve Lee; sons, Gerry (Melinda) Loeffler, Corey (Christine) Loeffler; sister, Debra Wailand; brothers, Shane (Caralee) Davis and Sam (Wendy) Davis; 4 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
