Dean A. Stevenson

Dean A. Stevenson, 73, of Moline, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Genesis East Medical Center in Davenport.

Memorial services will be held 11 a.m., Friday June 9, 2023, at First Covenant Church, Moline. Private inurnment will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.  Memorials may be made to First Covenant Church or Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family.

Dean was born on June 23, 1949, in Moline, the son of Richard W. and Dorothy J. (Mason) Stevenson. He married Mary Joanne “Jo” Campbell on February 13, 1979, in Cambridge, IL. He was previously employed as a truck driver for Quad City Express, retiring in 2013. Dean was a member of the First Covenant Church. He loved being outdoors fishing, hunting and boating. He also liked to garden and tend to his yard. He spent much of his time working on fill-in puzzles.

Survivors include his wife, Jo; children, Debbie (Ken) Edwards, Scott (Brenda) Stevenson, Lori Holmes, Christine (Mike) Fishel, Denise (Jeff) Key, Doug (Carrie) Holmes; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; sister, Diane Stevenson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Donita.
