Delbert E. Burkeybile, 60, of Geneseo, IL, died Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island, IL.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, February 17, 2014, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline, IL. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 2014, at the funeral home. Private burial will be at National Cemetery at Rock Island Arsenal where military honors will be conducted by Moline American Legion Post # 246. Memorials may be made to the family.
Delbert was born on September 26, 1953, in Trenton, MO, the son of Raymond and Wilma M. (Stiner) Burkeybile. He married Peggy Reese on June 9, 1973, in Moline. He was a United States Army veteran.
Delbert worked as an assembler for John Deere, retiring in April of 2013. He enjoyed working on stained glass and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Richard; father-in-law, Dwight Reese.
