Delbert L. Hahn, 69, of Carbon Cliff, IL, died Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2015, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens where military honors will be conducted by the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 299. Memorials may be made to the family.
Delbert was born on June 13, 1945, in Iowa City, IA, the son of Floyd and Ruby Ellen Burmeister Hahn. He married Beverly L. Willett on June 23, 2001, in Benton, IL. He worked as an assembler for Case I.H. and also worked as a security guard at Jumer's.
Delbert was a Marine Corps. veteran, having proudly served during the Vietnam War. He loved fishing and bowling and was a Chicago Bears and Cubs fan. Delbert enjoyed spending time with his family, especially family cookouts.
Survivors include his loving wife, Beverly; children, Rabecca K. (Sonja) Hahn Haas, Perry L. (Jennifer) Hahn, Julie A. (Rick) Hahn Key, Delynn R. Willett, Tammy L. (Eric) Littrell, Missy Hahn; 21 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; mother, Ruby Burmeister, FL; brother, Kenneth L. (Judy) Hahn, AR; sisters, Ruby (Alan) Daniels, FL, Susan Negretty, East Moline, IL; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Jack; 2 sisters, Alice and Nellie.
