Delores M. Knapp, 79, of Silvis, IL, died Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Genesis Medical Center – East Campus, Davenport, IA.
Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services. Inurnment will be at Moline Memorial Park at a later date. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Delores was born on September 20, 1937, in Mexico City, Mexico, the daughter of Esperanza Monroy. She worked as a cook in the cafeteria for Rock Island High School, where she had many friends. Delores loved to dance at the East Moline V.F.W.
Survivors include her children; Luis (Deanna Krulik) Medina, Milan, IL, Blanca (Martin) Lopez, Avalon, CA, and Jesus Medina, Rock Island, IL; grandchildren, Olivia Medina and Scott Lopez.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Gregory Lopez.
