Delores June Wermuth

Delores June Wermuth, 84, of Moline, IL, died Monday, May 8, 2017, at home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2017, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 11, 2017, at the funeral home.  Entombment will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Bible Fellowship in Moline.

Delores was born on June 10, 1932, in Davenport, IA, the daughter of Frank C. and Pearl L. Burns Simons. Delores Simons Mundt married Walter K. Wermuth on June 10, 1972, in Moline.

Delores was a member of Moline Gospel Temple in Moline and Church of the Nazarene in both Davenport, IA, and Coal Valley, IL, where she was the treasurer for 30 years.  She was also a member of Grace Bible Fellowship in Moline.  Delores enjoyed sitting on her porch swing, recumbent trike riding with her husband; and always enjoyed attending family gatherings with the Simons, Mundt, and Wermuth families.

Survivors include her husband, Walter Wermuth; children, Dennis (Tia) Mundt, Davenport, IA, Daniel (Cindy) Mundt, Bettendorf, IA, and Debra (Travis) Yungen, Coal Valley, IL; step sons, David Wermuth, Kenosha, WI, and Terry (Cindy) Wermuth, Moline, IL; 12 grandchildren, Keith Mundt, Kevin Mundt, Lyndsey Yungen, Jennifer Deaton, Josh Mundt, Becca Mundt, Katelyn Mundt, Kimber Mundt, Micah, Amanda Kudulis, Alexandria Moore, and Anna Gulley; 11 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews including her special nephew, Donald (Sandy) Simons, Clinton, IA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Bob and Don; sister, Marilyn Simons; and granddaughter, Stephanie Yungen.
