Dennis D. Branham, 57, of Moline, IL, died Sunday, December 13, 2015, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2015, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 2015, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the family.
Dennis was born on August 13, 1958, in Moline, IL, the son of Floyd and Doris Sharp Branham. He married Caroline J. Van Dam on August 8, 1997, in Rock Island, IL.
Previously, Dennis worked for Montgomery Elevator. He also worked for IH where he was a member of UAW Local 1304. Currently, he was working as an inspector for Alcoa and was a member of USW Local 105.
Dennis was a wonderful handyman and enjoyed fixing things. He also collected John Deere bikes. Every summer Dennis looked forward to spending time with his youngest daughter, Alex, participating in Ride the River. He loved spending time with his family and friends and never met a stranger.
Survivors include his loving wife, Caroline; children, Amanda (David) Baldwin and Alex Branham; grandchildren, Zachary, Rachel, and Nathanael; siblings, Larry (Mary) Branham, Sherry (Gary) Combs, and Howard Branham.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
