Dennis W. Lang, 60, of East Moline, IL, died Thursday, March 26, 2015, at home surrounded by family after a seven week battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2015, at the funeral home. Per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded following the services. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Two Rivers Y.M.C.A.
Dennis was born on June 15, 1954, in Rock Island, IL, the son of Edward and Margaret Flynn Lang. He married Susan M. Hendrickson on September 21, 2002, in East Moline. He worked as the superintendent for Economy Roofing. Previously, Dennis served on the board at Willow Springs Swim Club and was an elected official as well as a volunteer for one of the TIF Committees in Carbon Cliff.
Dennis enjoyed his work and loved his family. More than anything, he loved spending time with his grandkids.
