Diane L. Simcox, 85, of Carbon Cliff, passed away on August 13, 2026, at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.
Private entombment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in East Moline.
Diane was born on December 10, 1940, in Moline, the daughter of Leon and Alice Waterman. She married Thomas J. Simcox, Jr. on July 11, 1963.
Diane was a graduate of United Township High School, class of 1958 and a graduate of Marycrest College, class of 1962. She had been employed as a teacher for the Moline School District retiring in June of 1994, after 32 years.
Survivors include her son, Scott.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
