Dilia B Melendez

Dilia B. Melendez, 69, of Davenport, IA, passed away, November 29, 2023, at Bettendorf Health Care Center.

Per the family’s wishes, there will be no services. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Dilia was born on November 29, 1954, in Puerto Rico, daughter of Louisa Franco and Robert Melendez. She married Brian Beard in Queens, NY in 1988, and later married Vincent Melendez in Scott County on January 6, 2003. She worked as an Assistant Bilingual Teacher in the New York school system.

Survivors include her husband Vincent, son Steven (Jen) Beard of NY, and sister Marlynlil Melendez of NV.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 8 brothers.
