Dolores Ruth Buell, 88, of Moline, IL, died Sunday, July 10, 2016, at Amber Ridge Memory Care, Moline, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 18, 2016, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 17, 2016, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rock Island Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Cornerstone Christian Fellowship.
Dolores was born on March 25, 1928, in Springfield, IL, the daughter of Lawrence A. and Ruth A. Johnson Lindberg. She married William M. Buell on February 27, 1948, and he preceded her in death on September 14, 1979. She worked as an accounting clerk at John Deere, retiring in 1987.
Dolores was a member of Moline Gospel Temple, where she was also the choir director and taught Sunday school along with many other activities. In 2001, she became a member of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship.
Survivors include her daughters, Sharon (Jerry) Helms, Moline, IL, and Annette (Dale) Kirschenmann, Colona, IL; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
