Donna J. Bailey

Donna J. Bailey, 87, of Moline, passed away Friday July 19, 2024, at Celebrate Senior Living of Moline.

Graveside services will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday July 26, 2024, at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Anyone wishing to attend should meet at 12:45 p.m. Friday at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline for procession to the cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Lupus Foundation. 

Donna was born on September 4, 1936, in Moline, the daughter of Kenneth L. and Janet H. (Daebelliehn) Taylor. She graduated from Moline High School in 1954. Donna married Gene Peal and together they had three children. She later married Donald Bailey. He preceded her in death on June 22, 1995. She had most recently attended Riverside Methodist Church in Moline. Donna was previously employed at Illini Hospital. She later worked at John Deere Plow and then the Greenery Tea Room. She enjoyed raising exotic birds and tending to her home.

Survivors include her children, Michael Peal, Linda Penick; 6 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Bailey and son, Kenneth Peal.
