Doris Ann Hurst, 76, of Moline, IL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 in her home.
Per her wishes cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services.
Doris was born on January 1, 1936 in Moline, IL, the daughter of Gus and Evelyn (Swarzkolph) VanDeVorde. She married Larry V. Hurst on March 3, 1972 in Rock Island, IL. Doris worked as a Presser for Burke's Cleaners. She was a diehard Cubs fan, loved to camp, and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
