Dorothy Jeanne Crouch, 88, of Moline, IL, died Thursday, April 24, 2014, at Amber Ridge Memory Care, Moline, IL.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Dorothy was born on November 2, 1925, in Elrick Junction, IA, the daughter of John Ellis and Mary Lorena (Parker) Culbertson. During WWII, Dorothy worked on the Arsenal. She married Paul Leon Waters on June 6, 1942, in Kahoka, MO, and he preceded her in death on February 6, 1958. She later married Carson R. Crouch on October 7, 1961, in East Moline, IL, and he preceded her in death on December 23, 1999.
In her younger years, Dorothy enjoyed bowling, camping, and traveling. In her retirement years, she enjoyed gardening and yard work at "The Cottage" on Crescent Lake in Alpha, IL. Dorothy also enjoyed wintering in Mission, TX.
