Dorothy L. Minard

Dorothy L. Minard, 90, of Moline, passed away Thursday May 11, 2023, at Cedarhurst of Moline.

Funeral services will be Noon Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Burial will be at Rock Island Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to ImpactLife or Cornerstone Christian Fellowship.

Dorothy was born on November 13, 1932, in Hampton Township, the daughter of Marshall A. and Mildred B. (Quick) Davis. She married Lester Otto Minard at the former Moline Gospel Temple on April 6, 1951. He preceded her in death. She was a devoted homemaker and a member of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship. Dorothy previously worked as a custodian at the former Moline Gospel Temple for ten years. Dorothy loved to help others and would donate blood whenever possible. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Nifty Fifty Club.

Survivors include her children, Cheryl (Al Kirk) Raley-Kirk, Tom (June) Minard, Kim (Terry) Kirschenmann; grandchildren, Nicole (Bill) Dobbelare, Jason (Morgan Dietkus) Minard, Jeremy (Ashley) Minard, Isaac Kirschenmann, Amy (Lowell Thompson) Kirschenmann-Thompson, Kyle (Kaitlyn) Kirschenmann; seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers and two sisters.
