Dorothy Ann Rose, 78, of Moline, IL, died Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at Aspen Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Silvis, IL.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Per her wishes cremation rites will be accorded. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to the American Heart Association.
Dorothy was born on April 16, 1937, in Atkinson, IL, the daughter of Elmer and Marion Gotthardt Hopkey. She married Robert Rose on July 9, 1955, in Geneseo, IL, and he preceded her in death on August 13, 2010.
Dorothy was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and traveled to all 50 states. She enjoyed boating and watching NASCAR.

Grandchildren Tyler Myers, Elliot Rose, Frank (Erin) Overton, Shannon (Kathy) Overton, Vanessa (Matt) Lannan, and Jessica Dubet

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
