Dorothy E. Walser, 93, of Moline, IL, died Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, IL.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2015, at St. Matthew Cemetery, 4360 Bates Street, St. Louis, MO. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting with arrangements.
Dorothy was born on October 23, 1921, in Sawyerville, IL, the daughter of Lt. Col. Ervin and Carrie Lou Wieters Walser. She worked as a secretary for the U.S. Army Aviation.
Dorothy was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time with her cat.
Survivors include her nephews, Lewis (Sue) Hultgren, Petersburg, IL, and Dr. Laurence (Mary Lou) Hultgren, Virginia Beach, VA; niece, Lorene (Charles) Cross, Kalamazoo, MI; several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, newborn brother, and sister, Lillian Hultgren.
