Edna Vance, 84, of Moline, passed away Monday, May 10, 2021 surrounded by family.
Private funeral services will be held. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Edgewood Baptist Church, 2704 38th St, Rock Island, IL 61201.
Edna was born on July 6, 1936 in Rock Island, the daughter of George and Dorothia (Ludwig) Collins. For 25 years Edna worked as a piece worker polisher for JI Case. She enjoyed watching judge programs on TV. She loved being with her grandchildren and religiously worked on crossword puzzles, and sudoku puzzles.
Survivors include her children, Rodney “Dean (Wendy) Vance, Gregory (Judy Taylor) Vance, Pam (Robert) Schalk, William “Bill” (Crystal) Vance; grandchildren, Jennifer (John) Koerner, Brian (Melissa) Keller, T. Leo (Stacey) Keller, Kevin Vance, Willie Vance, Jennifer Kay; numerous great grandchildren; brother, George (Margaret) Collins; and sister-in-law, Janene Collins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Ronald Vance; and brothers, Donald Collins and Ronald Collins.
