Elaine Johnson, 84, of Moline, IL, died Thursday, March 6, 2014, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, IL. Arrangements are pending at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date at St. Mary's Mausoleum, St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.
Elaine was born on March 11, 1929, in East Moline, IL, the daughter of Gentile and Madeline Braet DeWulf.
She married Marvin Johnson, and they later divorced.
Elaine had a kind and gentle nature and was a good mother. She enjoyed reading the Bible, watching Christian television, and working crossword puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Lorraine and her brother, Donald.
