Elizabeth "Ann" Bottorff

Elizabeth “Ann” Bottorff, 87, of East Moline, passed away, July 12, 2024, at Hope Creek Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Private inurnment will be at Competine Cemetery in Hedrick, Iowa.

Ann was born on July 10, 1937, in Hedrick, Iowa, the daughter of James H. and Hilda G. (Snider) Douglas. She married Vernon Bottorff on December 10, 1955, in Hedrick, IA. He preceded her in death on June 16, 2019. Ann worked as a secretary for the May Company President and The Globe Newspaper.

Survivors include her son, Randy (Rae) Bottorff; 4 grandchildren, Joshua, Allison, Abigail Bottorff and William Taylor; great grandchild, Ava Rae Bottorff; special friends, Larry Schutts, Rev. Stacie Fidlar, Kathy Wilkens Anson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings and grandson, Timothy Bottorff.
