Eloise Fransen

Eloise Fransen, 94, of Orion, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.

Memorials Mass will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Mary Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 1402 10th St, Orion.  Memorial Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church.  Inurnment will be at Western Township Cemetery.  Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Orion, is assisting the family.

Eloise was born on December 21, 1926, in Avon, Illinois, the daughter of Julian Arthur and Marguerite Louise (Fitzsimmons) Mitchell.  She married Kenneth Fransen on September 19, 1953.  He preceded her in death on July 10, 2021.

Eloise was a member of Mary Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church and was active with the Altar and Rosary Society.  She enjoyed Bingo and playing cards as well as painting.

Survivors include her daughter, Cathy Anderson; son, Kevin Fransen; grandchildren, Jessica (Keith) Egert, Ashley Fransen, Stacey (Shane) Lofgren; great grandchildren, Kenny, Taylor, Cameron; and great-great grandchild, Everly.
