Emma Lou Fells, 98, of Moline, IL, died Sunday, October 30, 2016, at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline.
Private services will be held and entombment will be at Rock Island Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the family. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Emma was born on October 14, 1918, in Canton, IL, the daughter of John L. and Bess Benson Nelson. She married Larry A. Fells on February 15, 1941, in Moline, and he preceded her in death on August 21, 1987.
In her later years, she enjoyed playing cards, dancing, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, Larry L. (Carol) Fells, Silvis, IL, Mary Lou (Artie Royal) Fells, Durant, IA, Terri (Joe) Sterling, Port Byron, IL, Pat (Karen) Fells, Davenport, IA; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, John Nelson.
