Eutha D. Burfield, age 87, of Silvis, formerly of Moline, died Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Trinity, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 17, 2011 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial is at Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Church of Christ, Moline.
Eutha was born September 10, 1923 in Brockwell, AR, the daughter of Fred and Oma Gray Walker. She married Wilmer B. Burfield on December 20, 1944 in Osceola, AR. He preceded her in death on August 24, 1990.
Eutha was employed as the assistant Director of Housekeeping at the former Lutheran Hospital in Moline for 25 years, retiring in 1986. She was a member of Church of Christ in Moline. Eutha enjoyed spending time with her family and loving grandchildren.
