Evan L Granger

Evan L. Granger, 95, of East Moline, died Friday, March 9, 2018 at Hope Creek Care Center.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 15, at Esterdahl Mortuary, 6601 38th Ave., Moline.  Visitation will be one hour before the service.  Burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island.  Memorials may be made to Moody Bible Institute, or WDLM.

Evan Louise Wilkinson was born on July 30, 1922, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Fred W. and Olive Nolsch Wilkinson.  She married Lloyd Granger on April 27, 1946, in Moline.  He preceded her in death on July 29, 2008.  She worked as an Inspector at Farmall works of International Harvester Company in Rock Island and later worked at the Dairy Queen that they built, owned and operated together in Peru, IN.

Survivors include her nephews; Jerry (Ellen) Barr, Moline, Terry (Jill) Barr, Westerville, OH, Perry Barr, Hartford, WI, Glenn Rogerson, Moline, Ed (Janet) Mishler, SC, nieces; Beverly Wegert, Peru, IN, Debbie Finch, East Moline, and Virginia Wangelein, East Moline.

Evan enjoyed spending time with her family.  She was #12 of 13 siblings and the final survivor.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; six brothers; Eugene, Paul, Russell, Fred, Herb and Tom and six sisters; Marguerite Cooper, Charlotte Mishler, Mildred Wilkinson, Helen Koontz, Kathryn Davis and Betty Barr.
