Evelyn D. Lee

Evelyn D. Lee, 93, of East Moline, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Aspen Rehab & Health Care, Silvis.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Burial will be at the Rock Island National Cemetery.

Evelyn was born on January 26, 1930, in Macomb, the daughter of William B. and Lenore (Welch) Wilhelm. She married Robert N. Lee in September of 1968 in Moline. He preceded her in death in March of 1991. She previously worked at Teske Pet & Garden, was a veterinary tech at Oak Knoll, Moline, and for the former State Senator Joe Seng. Evelyn loved her pets and working with animals. She also liked butterflies and traveling.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Waeyaert; son, Fred Paul; 3 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
