Floretta E. Druckmiller, 75, of Taylor Ridge, IL, died Wednesday, July 02, 2014, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 7, 2014, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline, IL. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 6, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Floretta was born on October 18, 1938, in Illinois City, IL, the daughter of Lorraine and Alice Carlson Bonnen.
She married Jon H. Druckmiller on September 20, 1958, at Zion Lutheran Church in rural Taylor Ridge, and he preceded her in death on December 24, 2007.
Floretta worked for 27 years as the Activity Director for the residents of Friendship Manor and was an organist for many years at Zion Lutheran Church in Taylor Ridge. She was a member of the Dorcas Society, R.I. Co. Home Extension, and a volunteer for the Women's Choice Center of the Quad Cities. Floretta enjoyed craft hobbies and taught craft classes at Black Hawk College. She also enjoyed traveling and gardening.
