Frances DeKock

Fidencia "Frances" "Fide" DeKock, 90, formerly of Moline, IL, died on Sunday, November 02, 2014, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2014, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at National Cemetery at Rock Island Arsenal. Memorials may be made to QC Paws, 4001 78th Avenue, Moline, IL, 61265.

Frances was born on November 16, 1923, in Silvis, IL, the daughter of Ignacio and Leonora Martinez Casillas. She married Joseph Perez in Moline. She later married John B. DeKock on July 2, 1960, in Moline, IL, and he preceded her in death on October 29, 1982.

Frances worked as a cashier for several grocery stores. She was a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church and enjoyed dancing.
