Frances Hardin, 90, of Moline, IL, died Friday, June 19, 2015, at Rosewood Health Care Center, Moline, IL.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2015, at Rose Lawn Memorial Estate. Memorials may be made to Bethel Wesley United Methodist Church in Moline. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Frances was born on October 12, 1924, in Guin, AL, the daughter of Roy and Myrtie Belle Akers McKay. She married "Doc" Hardin on October 7, 1941, in Fayette, AL, and he preceded her in death on September 8, 1988. From 1971 to 1977, she worked as a beautician for Mr. Andre's and later from 1977 to 2003 for Louise's Looking Glass.
Frances was a member of Bethel Wesley United Methodist Church in Moline.
Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Jo Hardin, Moline; brother, Tommy (Pat) McKay, Amarillo, TX; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 5 sisters.
