Franklin Arvel Noblet

Franklin Arvel Noblet, a beacon of warmth and wisdom, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2026, surrounded by the family he cherished deeply. Born on January 28, 1970, in Silvis, Illinois, Frank lived a life rich in love, laughter, and unconditional devotion to those he held dear.

Frank was the beloved son of the late Franklin Noblet and Linda Noblet-Smith and the cherished brother of the late Tammy Boggs. His legacy of love and kindness continues through his devoted wife of 33 years, Angela Noblet, and their three children, Mallory, Alexandria, and Quinton, who were the center of his world. His heart expanded further with pride and joy for his six grandchildren: Lottie, Owen, Emilio, Mateo, Zayne, Kinsley, and his enduring spirit is deeply felt by his sisters, Diana Larson of East Moline, Illinois, Jodie Noblet-Brown of Detroit, Michigan, and Penny Avila of Silvis, Illinois. His life touched many other family members and friends who will forever remember his vibrant presence.

Frank’s journey began in the close-knit environment of his uncle's restaurant, Smokey’s Cafe, in Colona, Illinois, where he worked from the age of eight. It was here that he discovered the value of hard work and community. Alongside Angela, who waitressed there, Frank was not just an employee but a part of a family tradition that extended to their own children. His passion for the culinary arts led him to own and operate The Red Apple in Orion and later manage the KFC in Davenport, Iowa. Frank's professional life was as much about serving others as it was about sharing meals, stories, and laughter.

With a degree in Criminal Justice, Frank was not only knowledgeable but also wise, using his quick wit and kind heart to offer advice and solace to those around him. Friends and family knew they could always turn to him for guidance, and his presence was a comforting constant in their lives.

Frank's most treasured role was that of "PawPaw," a title he wore with boundless pride and joy. His home was a sanctuary of laughter and love, a place where his grandchildren knew they were cherished beyond measure. His legacy lies not in material possessions but in the countless lives he touched with his warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love.

A memorial service to honor Frank's life will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., located at 6601 38th Avenue, Moline, Illinois. A visitation will be held from Noon to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Family, friends, and all whose lives Frank touched are invited to celebrate the extraordinary life of a man who gave so much and asked for so little in return.
