Frank J. Schalk, 87, of Milan, died on Sunday, July 30, 2017, at Select Specialty Hospital, Davenport.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 6, 2017, at Sherrard Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Frank was born on May 13, 1930, in Quincy, IL, the son of Frank A. Catherine W. Waterwann Schalk. He worked as a machinist for Montgomery Elevators for 46 years, retiring in 1995.
Survivors include his daughter, Julie (Butch) Kelly; son-in-law, Jerry Davis; 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brother, Bob Schalk.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Tony Schalk; daughter, Pam Ryan.
