Gabriel MacHenry Mumma

Gabriel MacHenry Mumma, 7 months old, of Moline, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at The Apostolic Sanctuary, 1501 John Deere Pkwy, Silvis, IL 61282.  Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at the church. Burial will be at Viola Cemetery, Viola, IL.  Memorials may be made to the family.  In accordance with restrictions, attendees are expected to wear a face mask and observe social distancing.

Gabriel was born on May 11, 2020 in Iowa City, the son of Caleb and Leah (Nelson) Mumma. He enjoyed playing with his sister, Chloe, swinging on his swingset, being outside, and he loved the song Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

Survivors include his parents; sister, Chloe; maternal grandparents, Jeff and Lori Nelson; paternal grandparents, Larry and Kathryn Mumma; maternal great grandparents, John (Janice) Pollock; aunts and uncles, Jeffery (Emily) Nelson, Jeremy (Cheredith) Nelson, Abigail Nelson, Isaac (Alex) Mumma, Daniel Mumma, and David Mumma; and cousins, Peyton, Addison, Belle, and Ellis.

He was preceded in death by his uncle, Israel Mumma.
