Gary A. Armstrong

Gary A. Armstrong, 70, of Muscatine Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, April 11th, 2023. He was born on February 17, 1953, in Peoria, Il., to Margie and William (Bill) Armstrong.

Gary is survived by his children, Mike Armstrong of Muscatine, Iowa, Angela Mulligan of Peoria, and Gary Armstrong Jr. of Florida, along with six grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother, Margie Armstrong of Peoria, siblings, Tom (Tess) Armstrong of Portland Maine, Jack Armstrong, Karen (Wright) Armstrong-Bovee and Sandra Armstrong, all of Peoria and several cousins of Muscatine, IA.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bill, brothers, Mike and Ted Armstrong and sister, Carla.

Gary worked many years at Keystone Steele & Wire. He was a kind and caring man who was loved by many. He was an avid Beatles fan and enjoyed horse racing and watching sports. He will be greatly missed.

No funeral services are planned, per Gary’s wishes. Cremation will be Esterdahl Mortuary in Moline, Il.

A Celebration of Gary’s Life will be held at a later date.
