Geraldine Ada Tidwell, 86, of Moline, IL, passed away Friday, September 25, 2015 at UnityPoint Health- Trinity, Rock Island.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601 38 Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Union Congregational Church, Moline.
Geraldine was born on July 19, 1929 in Moline, IL, the daughter of Joe & Leyouta Peterson Dolleslager. She married Lowell Tidwell in Moline, IL on November 26, 1950.
Geraldine was an auditor at Royal Neighbors of America in Rock Island and later owned and operated Gerri's Beauty Salon, Moline. She was a member of Union Congregational Church in Moline for over 60 years. She enjoyed wintering in Okeechobee, FL for 24 years. The highlights of Gerri's days were filled with spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
