Geraldine L. Trobaugh, 79, of Moline, IL, formerly of Cave City, KY, died Thursday, April 17, 2014, at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, IL.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memorial Estates. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
Geraldine was born on January 18, 1935, in Canton, IL, the daughter of J. Madison and Ina Lucille (Wilcoxen) Hughes. She graduated from Canton High School. She married Frank J. Trobaugh on November 16, 1951, and he preceded her in death on July 10, 2010.
Geraldine held various positions at Freshpak Candy Co. in Moline. She was also a licensed beautician for 30 years. She also worked for Moline Public Hospital in Moline. Geraldine was a member of Christ Cathedral Church in Moline and ECA CB Club with a handle of "Shortstuff".
