Gladys A. Lemke, 101, of Moline, IL, died Thursday, May 07, 2015, at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis, IL.
A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 4107 21st Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior at the church. Memorials may be made to the Church.
Gladys was born on November 26, 1913, in Norway, Iowa, the daughter of Simon and Emma Christensen Peterson. She married Ervin A. Lemke on March 6, 1949, in Newhall, IA, and he preceded her in death on September 1, 1992.
Gladys was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Moline, where she played in the bell choir, attended and loved the Bible Classes and was involved with various volunteer projects. Gladys also enjoyed traveling, baking and knitting.

She was preceded in death by her siblings; Ida Mae Rathje, Belda Peterson, June Wear and Clifford Peterson.
