Gloria M. (Lambert) Hartley

Gloria M. Hartley, 98, formerly of Moline, passed away Friday June 30, 2023, in South Carolina.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline is assisting the family.

Gloria was born on March 16, 1925, in Altona, Illinois, the daughter of Allen and Myrna (Taff) Lambert. She married Roy Hartley on October 1, 1943, in Toulon, Illinois. He preceded her in death. Gloria was previously employed in accounting at Black Hawk College, Moline. She was a former member of Coal Valley Church of the Nazarene where she was active in many activities. Gloria enjoyed traveling and listening to music.

Survivors include her son, Richard W. (Mary Margaret) Hartley, Laura, IL and son-law David Tinkham, Warrenville, SC.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy; daughter, Carolyn Tinkham; siblings, Isabelle Lambert, John Lambert, Warren “Gus” Lambert, Pauline Sommer, Joe Lambert, Mildred Sornberger.
