Harlene Joyce Findahl, 72, of Moline, IL, died Thursday, May 14, 2015, at home.
A family directed celebration of life service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Salem Lutheran Church, 1724 15th Street, Moline. Private Inurnment will be at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Galesburg, IL. Memorials may be made to Salem Lutheran Church or to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center in Milan, IL. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Harlene was born on June 29, 1942, in Pekin, IL, the daughter of Harold and Eleanor Moews Mast. She married Howard W. Findahl on June 13, 1965, in Galesburg. She was very proud of being a mother and homemaker.
Harlene was a member of Salem Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and friends. She especially liked hearing about the latest happenings in her grandchildren's lives. Harlene also enjoyed her flowers, birds, and reading. She was an avid Illini fan, especially basketball.
