Harold J. Knodel

Harold J. Knodel, 78, formerly of Cleveland, IL, passed away Thursday May 11, 2023, at Hope Creek Care Center.

Cremation rites will be accorded. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family.

Harold was born on December 1, 1944, in Moline, the son of Harold and Evelyn (Glendwell) Knodel. He was previously employed at Weyerhaeuser, retiring in June of 1999. Harold enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding motorcycles and dirt bikes.

Survivors include his children, Robin, Kathy, Jim; grandchildren, Alyssa (Blake), Kelsey, Ryan, Brandon; many great grandchildren; siblings, Mark Knodel and Joni Knodel; and his nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Brandon.
