Harry Dale Roush

Harry "Pete" Dale Roush, 94, formerly of Moline, died in his home at Aspen Rehab & Health Care, Silvis, on November 14, 2008.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 17, 2008 at Faith Lutheran Church, Moline. Visitation will be from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday with an Eagle service at 5:00 p.m. by Moline Aerie 1112 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Memorial Estate, Moline. Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church or Gilda's Club.
Harry was born August 28, 1914 in Dallas City, IL to John A. and Sadie Wilson Roush. He married Margaret L. Dopler on June 14, 1935 in Moline. She preceded him in death on December 9, 1996.
Harry was a heavy machine operator for the city of Moline Street Department for 21 years. He retired in 1975 and after his retirement he was a substitute custodian for the Moline School District.
Harry was a member of Faith Lutheran Church where he belonged to the Friendship Club and Encore of the church. Harry was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #1112 of Moline where he was Past Worthy President, REAC (Retired Eagle Activity Club), Moline Eagles Drill Team and was also named State Grandfather of the Year. He also was a member of AARP and Moline Senior Citizens.

He was preceded in death by 3 brothers.
