Helen L. Overman, 91, of Silvis, formerly of Moline, IL, died Thursday, October 18, 2012, at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis, IL.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, October 22, 2012, at First Covenant Church, 3303 41st Street, Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at National Cemetery at Rock Island Arsenal. Memorials may be made to First Covenant Church or to Illini Restorative Care. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Helen was born on February 21, 1921, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Warren and Mabel (Fredell) Trich. She married Donald H. Overman on August 30, 1941, in Moline, IL. He preceded her in death on March 19, 1981. She worked as a Stenographer for Rock Island Arsenal until 1944. Helen was a lifetime member of First Covenant Church where she was an active member of the Covenant Women. She also volunteered at Christian Friendliness and enjoyed playing the organ.
