Howard Seale, 88, of Hillsdale, IL, died Saturday, February, 20, 2016, at Park Vista of Quad Cities, East Moline, IL.
Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Howard was born on January 4, 1928, in Moline, IL, the son of Marvin and Lucille Harrington Seale. He proudly served as a Merchant Marine from 1944 to 1948. He married Bonita "Bonnie Sue" Johnson on July 22, 1971, in Peoria, IL, and she preceded him in death on March 27, 2012. Howard retired as a journeyman painter from IH Harvester Plant in East Moline, on October 1, 1978.
Howard was a talented woodworker and could make anything from any piece of wood he found. Prior to moving back to Illinois, he spent the last years with Bonnie Sue in Apache Junction, AZ.
Survivors include his daughters, Laurie (Steve) Schweinberger, Denise Finch, Lori Jump, Christine Tourino, and Mellisea Seale; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and granddaughter.
