Hung Vo

Hung H. Vo, 55, of Rock Island, IL, passed away, March 10, 2026, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded. Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline is assisting the family and carrying out his wishes. Memorials may be made to the family.

Hung was born on September 15, 1970, in Saigon, Vietnam, the son of Tai Cong Dang and Hoa Thi Vo. Hung was happily married to his wife Michelle. He worked as a mechanic and loved fishing and gardening in his free time. Hung had numerous memories and close bonds that no one could break or replace. He loved his close friends like family and loved his family deeply. Hung always tried to do his best to care for his loved ones and he believed in keeping memories alive.

Survivors include his wife, Michelle; sons, Josh Vo, Devin Vo, Jake (Gaby) Anderson, and CJ Anderson; several grandchildren and granddaughter, Brooklyn; uncles, Tut and Tune; best friend, Demarlo “Fresh” McCoy.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lydia Vo.
