Inez M. Gengler, 93, of Rock Island, IL, died Thursday, August 02, 2012 at St. Anthony's Nursing and Rehab, Rock Island.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, August 6, 2012 at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 210 East 22nd Avenue, Coal Valley. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Rose-Lawn Memorial Estate. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Inez was born on April 26, 1919 in Callman, AL, the daughter of Rudolph and Nettie (Boren) Gengler. She worked in the Hillsdale area as a teacher in a one room schoolhouse and later at Kmart in Michigan.
